<p>A server device (200) is provided with a content portion acquisition unit (202) for sequentially acquiring from client apparatuses (300) sections to be compared, which are portions of content units to be acquired, corresponding to each of a plurality of comparable sections which are each portions of acquired content units; a duplicate assessment unit (204) for assessing whether or not there is a content unit having a comparable section that matches a section to be compared among the acquired content units by comparing a section to be compared with the corresponding comparable section each time that the section to be compared is acquired; and a content acquisition unit (208) for acquiring a content unit to be acquired from a client apparatus and storing thereof in a store unit (211) if the assessment has been made that there is no such content unit; wherein the content portion acquisition unit (202) stops acquisition of the comparable section that follows the content unit to be acquired if the assessment has been made that there is no such content unit.</p> |
