<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of variation in sensitivity of a detection sensor caused by a transfer belt being stretched by use. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer belt 11 is tension-mounted across a plurality of rollers. A detection sensor 33 irradiates the transfer belt 11, and detects a toner attachment amount on the transfer belt 11 by receiving light reflected therefrom. A change section 34 changes an attitude of the detection sensor 33 so that an incidence angle of the light radiated from the detection sensor 33 onto the transfer belt 11 is changed. A control section 30 controls the change section 34 so that the incidence angle is within a predetermined range according to an intensity of the light received at the detection sensor 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
