WASTE MATERIAL POLISHING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR POLISHING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for efficiently and stably polishing a sharp tip end of a waste material using a facilitating device and method when recycling waste materials, such as crushed insulators under an assumption of high-volume production.

SOLUTION: The waste material polishing device includes: a rotating drum 10 which rotationally drives around a horizontal axis by a rotatory driving device 5 and in which a waste material is charged; a scraping means 20 which is fixed in the rotating drum 10 and rotated with the rotating drum 10 and scrapes the waster material 8 charged in the rotating drum 10; and polishing accelerating means 25 which is fixed in the rotating drum and in which the waste material 8 having fallen after being scrapped by the scraping means 20 is collided and scattered.
