PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the internal resistance without thickening electrode and negative electrode current collectors. SOLUTION: In a cylindrical secondary battery in which an electrode spiral body formed by spirally winding a strip positive electrode 13 and a negative electrode 14 through a separator is housed in a cylindrical battery case, a plurality of rectangular leads 11 are provided at prescribed intervals, extending from the current collectors 13a, 14a formed of metal foils of the positive electrode 13 and the negative electrode 14 on one side and the other side in the direction orthogonal to the winding direction. The rectangular leads 11 on the one side and the other side are connected to positive electrode terminals and negative electrode terminals, respectively. |
