<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straining machine useful chiefly for a Chinese noodle soup material. <P>SOLUTION: The straining machine comprises: an installation frame (F) having a driving motor (13) built therein; a soup receiving tank (18) mounted on the frame; rotary shafts (22) and bearing tubes (20) vertically installed in a positional relationship interposing the tank therebetween; a chain (31) transmitting and connecting a lower end of one of the rotary shafts and an output shaft (14) of the motor; a pair of rotary top flanges (23) fastened and integrated to upper ends of the rotary shafts vertically standing higher than the upper face of the opening of the tank; and a strainer holding arms-ring (25), which is pivotally linked to the top flange via a pair of eccentric shafts (26) and almost horizontally crosses the upper face of the opening of the tank.
