<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator for an air conditioner which secures high quietness in a room by suppressing the generation of a whistling sound by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the ventilator for the air conditioner in which, in a case having an outlet opened indoors, a plurality of sheets of louver 5 are arranged in parallel to each other and in conjunction with each other so as to be turnable, end edges of adjacent louvers 5 are not overlapped with each other at a full closing time and a minute gap δ is formed between the end edges. In the ventilator, a projection 10 is formed in at least one end back side of each of the louvers 5. In this case, the projections 10 are formed at the louvers 5 arranged at the most indoor side of the outlet. Also, the projection 10 is formed over the whole length of the longitudinal direction of each of the louvers 5.
