<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a green dried article of eucommia leaf, having clear green and also containing a high functional componenet such as iridoids and polyphenol at a high concentration. <P>SOLUTION: Eucommia raw leaves are arranged substantially at equal spaces so that the leaves do not come into contact with each other, and far infrared rays are applied to the leaves while keeping the arranged state thereof, thereby heating the leaves. Heating and drying are thus performed until the water content of the leaves is lowered to 30% or less of the water content before drying within 30 minutes after the start of heating, whereby the green dried article of eucommia leaf, having clear green and also containing a high functional component such as iridoids and polyphenol at a high concentration can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
