<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt having flexibility and excellent toner release property, capable of achieving a high transfer rate regardless of a transfer medium and maintaining the transfer rate for a long period of time, for achieving an electrophotographic apparatus of high durability and high image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer belt used for an electrophotographic apparatus includes a surface comprising a uniform projection portion in which at least independent spherical resin particles are arranged in a plane direction, and a particulate layer area present between the projection portions.
