<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of minimizing a cost increase while having a distal end cooling mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes a scope part having an objective lens, a distal end having a mechanism associated with heat generation, and an operating part. The endoscope apparatus includes a cleaning mechanism for cleaning the objective lens by temporarily ejecting a cleaning fluid to the objective lens; and a cooling mechanism for cooling the mechanism associated with heat generation at the distal end by recirculating the cooling fluid at the distal end. A liquid feed mechanism for supplying the cleaning fluid and the cooling fluid is arranged outside the scope part, and a pressurizing mechanism for feeding liquid is used in common for the cleaning fluid and the cooling fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
