<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to know reading operation speed for every checker. <P>SOLUTION: A reading section reads a commodity code attached to every commodity in a code symbol format and outputs the commodity code, and a reading interval of the commodity code is obtained based on a time interval among the commodity codes outputted within one transaction from the reading section, and this reading interval is stored on a storage area (Steps S105, S106), and an average value of the reading intervals of the commodity codes stored on the storage area is obtained as an average reading time required for reading one commodity code and is stored on the storage area (Step S109). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
