<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet cassette for disposing paper sheets in a stacked state relative to a paper sheet feed roller to feed the stacked paper sheets by the paper sheet feed roller. <P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet cassette 2 includes: a paper sheet containing part 20 loading and containing paper sheets; and a paper sheet positioning mechanism 3 for determining a position of the paper sheets in their width direction b. The paper sheet positioning mechanism 3 includes: paper sheet side edge positioning members 31, 32 forming a pair provided so as to move toward or away from each other; an interlock mechanism 4 for them; a latch member 400 movable with the one member 31 and having lock teeth 400a formed thereon; and a lock member 401 movable with the other member 32, including latch claws 401a, and capable of bringing the latch claws 401a into or out of engagement with the lock teeth 400a. By engaging the latch claws 401a with the lock teeth 400a, the positioning members 31, 32 can be easily fixed at a position for paper sheet positioning while maintaining the position and relative interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
