Disclosed is a process for producing an impeller by heat-treating an assembly in which a brazing material made of a Ni-containing Au alloy is disposed at a joint section between at least two impeller components, the process involving: a step of subjecting the assembly to a solution heat treatment to melt and solidify the brazing material; and a step of applying an age-hardening heat treatment to the assembly which has been subjected to the solution heat treatment and in which at least two impeller components have been joined by the brazing material. The impeller components are made of JIS SUS630, which is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel. The brazing material is made of an Au alloy containing 15-20% by mass of Ni and is 200-1000 µm thick. The cooling rate at the time of cooling in the age-hardening heat treatment is 0.5-10°C/minute. |
