PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricating oil composition which contains a polyorganosiloxane and exhibits excellent lubricity, particularly lubricity between steels. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition comprises the polyorganosiloxane (A) and a fluorine-containing aromatic compound (B) represented by the formula 1: X<SP>2</SP><SB>n</SB>R(X<SP>1</SP>R<SP>f</SP>)<SB>m</SB>(wherein X<SP>2</SP>is a halogen atom; X<SP>1</SP>is each independently oxygen atom or sulfur atom; R<SP>f</SP>is each independently a 1-8C polyfluroalkyl group; R is an aromatic group; and (n) and (m) are each an integer of at least 1 and n+m is not larger than the largest number of substitutable positions of the aromatic group represented by R).
