AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, AUTHENTICATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system that allows a network service provider to easily introduce user authentication such as IC card authentication, fingerprint authentication, or the like to a network service.

SOLUTION: A user identification server 10 receives an authentication system ID of an authentication device 40 from a service provider server 20, obtains an authentication device control script from a database section 11 by using the authentication system ID as a key, and sends the authentication device control script to a terminal 30. The terminal 30 executes the authentication device control script to obtain authentication data from the authentication device 40 and sends the obtained authentication data to the user identification server 10. The user identification server 10 obtains an evaluation script from a database by using the authentication system ID as a key and executes the evaluation script to obtain evaluation data from the database section 11. The user identification server 10 performs authentication on the basis of the evaluation data and the authentication data and sends an authentication result to the service provider server 20.
