<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information by utilizing information of a group of commodities related to each other by using users' purchase histories having specific purchase characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity information providing device 10 acquires commodities purchased by one or more users and belonging to a prescribed commodity category, purchase time of the commodities, and sale dates of the commodities and extracts, from these users, users whose purchase dates of the plurality of commodities belonging to the prescribed commodity category are within prescribed time ranges after sale dates of respective commodities, and the commodity information providing device 10 associates attribute information showing that the extracted users have specific purchase characteristics about the prescribed commodity category, with the extracted users and stores at least partial commodities out of commodities belonging to the prescribed commodity category, which have been purchased by respective users with whom the attribute information is associated, in association with each other and provides information of a commodity selected from among commodities associated with a commodity specified on the basis of information accepted from a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
