摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a dispersion of an ink injection characteristic in each nozzle, when injecting transparent ink to conduct printing, and to print an image of uniform density. <P>SOLUTION: A test pattern having a plurality of gradations of patches is printed by injecting the transparent ink from the nozzles, to form dots at respective injection amounts of the first ink injection amount of a standard ink injection amount, the second ink injection amount of an ink injection amount higher than the first ink injection amount, and the third ink injection amount of an ink injection amount lower than the first ink injection amount, a glossiness with respect to gradation value of the patch is measured in each ink injection amount, the gradation value of the patch when the glossiness gets same is found in each case of the first ink injection amount, the second ink injection amount and the third ink injection amount, a correction table is prepared based on the gradation value in the second ink injection amount and the gradation value in the third ink injection amount, with respect to the gradation value in the first ink injection amount, found therein, and a formed dot amount is corrected based thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
