Variable mixer i.e. variable bloom mixer, for mixing cool and hot air streams of fan of turbofan engine of aircraft, has traction cable for obtaining original position by compensating traction force using resilient material properties

The mixer i.e. variable bloom mixer (4), has a flexible traction cable (10) looped with an external periphery of the mixer in a region of outward bulged gutter-shaped channels (8). Diameter of the traction cable is temporally and variably reduced based on elastic deformation of the mixer using traction force acting on a direction opposite to ends of the traction cable. The traction cable obtains an original position by compensating the traction force using resilient material properties and is guided into cable guides (11) attached to a rear side of the channels.
