PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board image monitoring device smoothly performing image confirmation from a remote place while protecting the privacy of the public who can be persons to be photographed.SOLUTION: The on-board image monitoring device is mounted on a vehicle and enables an external device to acquire, through a communication line, an image obtained by photographing a situation of the vehicle on which the on-board image monitoring device is mounted. The on-board image monitoring device includes: an image acquirer for acquiring an image obtained by photographing the inside of the vehicle and an image obtained by photographing the outside of the vehicle; a state monitoring part for monitoring a usage state of the vehicle; and a controller for transmitting the images to the external device in response to an acquisition request from the external device, wherein the controller respectively determines whether the image of the inside of the vehicle and the image of outside thereof can be transmitted, in accordance with the usage state upon receiving the acquisition request from the external device. |
