PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device which uses a simple configuration to more preferably respond to an incoming call, depending on the party on the other end.SOLUTION: A cellular phone 1 includes: an imaging controller 462 which, when receiving an incoming call from a communication part 42, activates and causes a main camera 33 or a sub-camera 23 to capture an image of a subject; a face recognition part 464 which recognizes a human face from the captured image data of the subject; a facial expression recognition part 465 which recognizes a facial expression of the recognized face; and a conversation controller 466 which responds in a different manner to an incoming call received from the communication part 42 based on the recognized facial expression. |
