PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell enhancing photoelectric conversion efficiency and reducing cost.SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell includes a transparent substrate 2 on which a transparent conducting film 1 is formed, and a photoelectrode 3 containing sensitizing dye and a titanium oxide-based semiconductor and electrically connected to the transparent conducting film 1. The transparent conducting film 1 is composed of titanium-doped zinc oxide, and formed by a film forming method such as a pulse laser deposition method (a PLD method), an ion plating method, a sputtering method, or an electron beam (EB) deposition method by using a titanium-doped zinc oxide target, in which titanium is low-valent titanium with valence expressed by (4-2X) valence (X=0.1 to 1). |
