Cosmetic composition (A) comprises, in a medium, at least one cationic polymer comprising at least one primary-, secondary- or tertiary amine function, and at least one polymeric acid containing at least one carboxylic-, sulfonic- and/or phosphonic acid function, where the cationic polymer is: (a) polymers, which is e.g. modified or non modified natural derivatives, such as polysaccharides, preferably glucans; and (b) polyamino acids, homopolymers or copolymers of natural or modified amino acids, preferably having at least one unit comprising lysine, arginine and histidine. Cosmetic composition (A) comprises, in a medium, at least one cationic polymer comprising at least one primary-, secondary- or tertiary amine function, and at least one polymeric acid containing at least one carboxylic-, sulfonic- and/or phosphonic acid function, where the cationic polymer is: (a) polymers, which is modified or non modified natural derivatives, such as polysaccharides, preferably glucans; modified or non modified starches, preferably from wheat, corn, rice or potato; amylose, amylopectin, and dextrans; cellulose and its derivatives such as methylcellulose, ethylhydroxycellulose, mannans, xylans, lignins, galactans, galacturonans, glucomannans, agar, glycoaminoglucans, gum arabic, guar gum, hydroxypropyl guar, and xanthan gum; and chitosans having at least one glucose amine unit of formula (aa), provided that such polymers include at least one amine; and (b) polyamino acids, homopolymers or copolymers of natural or modified amino acids, preferably having at least one unit comprising lysine, arginine and histidine.
