<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a top emission type organic electroluminescent (EL) element, in which flattening of a cathode and highly fine fabrication of the cathode are achieved, to provide a method for manufacturing the display device, and electronic equipment, and to provide an inexpensive display device having a contact hole structure with high long-term reliability, a method for manufacturing the display device, and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a transistor formed on a substrate; an interlayer insulator formed on the transistor; a conducive post disposed on one electrode of the transistor and penetrating the interlayer insulating film, a pixel electrode formed on the interlayer insulator; a first partition located above the conductive post; and a second partition which intersects with the first partition, or which is located on a straight line intersecting with the first partition, and which brings a width value of the pixel electrode to a prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
