PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve data transmission speed (updating cycle period) of a particular peripheral base board when transmitting the data to the peripheral base board from a sub base board in a game machine having a serial communication route with a daisy chain structure. SOLUTION: The peripheral base boards are classified into a type (44-1) which needs high updating cycle period and a type (44-2, 44-3) which does not. A latch signal is added to the former and, by separating it from the daisy chain structure, the data transmission time is shortened and the updating cycle period is improved. The daisy chain structure part is controllable in a conventional way. Since the structure with the latch signal added thereto can transmit the data without depending on the number of data of the daisy chain structure, the time for data transmission can be less than the one carried out by the daisy chain structure.
