The method involves detecting sensing forces or moments which develop during movement of a hand prosthesis of a hand amputee through a sensor at the prosthesis. The sensing forces or moments detected by a sensor are applied on a toe (10a,10b,10c) or another part of the foot of the hand amputee by an actuator which is mounted on the toe or the foot. An independent claim is also included for a device for return of sensing forces or moments in a hand amputate.
