摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to the development of industry by producing metal hydrides as solid fuels simultaneously satisfying hydrogen generation and storage from natural resources such as marine salts or lime stone or iron and steel slag of industrial waste by using electric power obtained from wind energy and solar energy, and supplying the metal hydrides in response to a demand, in order to reduce the degree of dependence of energy resources on overseas and the discharge amount of CO<SB>2</SB>, and to produce an alternative fuel allowing long-term storage and long-distance transportation like petroleum oil or coal by maximally utilizing resources existing in the country. <P>SOLUTION: In order to obtain hydrogen in response to a demand from sea water, salt lake water, hot spring water, lime stone or the like, being ultimate energy resources, existing universally in natural state in the country, metal hydrides are produced by forming molten salts of various metal salts from metals collected from the source of the resources, and then occluding hydrogen into metals deposited on a negative electrode by molten salt electrolysis, and further the metal hydrides are made to react with water in a hydrogen production facility, thereby twice amount of hydrogen comprising hydrogen occluded in the metal and hydrogen generated by the reaction of the metals with water is obtained simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
