PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display and medical image display method for correctly extracting a target organ. SOLUTION: The medical image display having a display part for displaying a three-dimensional image generated based on the tomographic image of a subject, which includes the target organ, includes: a luminal organ extracting part for extracting a luminal organ from the three-dimensional image; an evaluation calculating part for calculating an evaluation value concerning respective pixels in the three-dimensional image, based on a distance from each pixel in the region of the luminal organ; and a target organ extracting part for extracting the target organ, based on the evaluation value.
