PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance welding method capable of preventing a welding object from being a quenching state in resistance welding in which tempering is impossible. SOLUTION: Prior to main welding, the welding objects (an upper steel bar 1 and a lower steel bar 2) are heated to a predetermined temperature using remaining heat, thereby increasing the amount of heat of the entire welding objects (the upper steel bar 1 and lower steel bar 2) to prevent the welding objects from being easily cooled. Thus, the welding method having less quenching state is provided. Further, in case of steel bars having different dimensions (easy-to-heat and easy-to-cool steel bar and hard-to-heat and hard-to-cool steel bar), the temperatures of both steel bars become almost the same with the remaining heat (uniform temperature is obtained), and high-strength welding is possible.
