NOX REMOVAL SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NOx removal system for an internal combustion engine, sufficiently absorbing NOx while employing a method for absorbing and removing NOx in exhaust gas by using NOx absorbing liquid.

SOLUTION: This NOx removal system for the internal combustion engine includes a NOx removal device 30 which holds the NOx absorbing liquid absorbing contacted NOx and which absorbs and removes NOx in the exhaust gas by bringing the exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine 10 into contact with the NOx absorbing liquid. A CO2removal device 20 removing CO2in the exhaust gas is arranged on the upstream side of the NOx removal device 30 in an exhaust pipe 11.
