The invention relates to a pocket box for herbs that are preserved by separating the mature gland from the leaves, said box having a rectangular or square cross-section and a size comparable to that of a cigarette packet. The box is formed by an upper lid, an internal mesh that covers the entire horizontal span thereof and a lower drawer. The upper lid and the lower drawer are provided with closure means and can be opened by means of a lateral rotation in the opening plane of the box.
