A signal interface for higher data rates

A method for addressing and identifying a response from a client in a MDDI communication system, the method comprising the steps of inserting a client identification (ID) field in a data packet transmitted by the client to a host; decoding the data packet and evaluating the ID; and taking action on the response if the evaluated ID is validated as well as a corresponding system.
