Provided is a mechanism for opening a platen (18) in a portable label attachment machine wherein an operation for opening a lower lid (23) enables the opening of the platen (18) simultaneously, and an operator who is not used to the method for use can easily form a insertion path (25) of a label (3). In order to open the platen (18) with respect to the side plate (31), in conjunction with the opening operation of the lower lid (23) with respect to a side plate (31), the mechanism for opening the platen (18) in a portable label attachment machine comprises the side plate (31) provided with the lower lid (23) which can be opened by rotating, and the platen (18) on which the label (3) fed from a holding unit (32) in the form of a strip can be transferred, wherein the label (3) can be adhered on an adhered body, and the platen (18) is rotatable between a closing position and a opening position relative to the side plate (31) to enable loading of the label (3), and wherein in conjunction with the opening operation of the lower lid (23) with respect to the side plate (31), the platen (18) can be brought into the opening state with respect to the side plate (31). |
