The invention relates to a composition for the prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of cough, the composition comprising, based on an individual dose, the following essences, tinctures and/or extracts as the active components: a. essences, tinctures and/or extracts of plants or plant parts of Primula in the range of > 20 mg to = 500 mg; b. essences, tinctures and/or extracts of plants or plant parts of thyme in the range of > 40 mg to = 2 g; c. essences, tinctures and/or extracts of plants or plant parts of ivy in the range of > 2 mg to = 200 mg, the quantities being based on the dry substance of the essences, tinctures and/or extracts. |
