PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station device capable of flexibly allocating continuously-arranged resources and discontinuously-arranged resources, a mobile station device, a communication system, and a communication method. SOLUTION: The control information of a first format including scheduling information for designating uplink resources continuously arranged in a frequency direction is arranged in a resource in a first region in a physical downlink control channel, and the control information of a second format having the same number of bits as that of the first format and including scheduling information for designating one of the uplink resource arranged discontinuously and the uplink resource arranged continuously in the frequency direction is arranged in a resource in a second region in the physical downlink control channel.
