<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a boiled rice ball by which the boiled rice ball having a homogeneous density and a low density (that is, having much spaces) can be produced. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing a boiled rice ball includes a quantifying mechanism 100 capable of quantifying the amount of boiled rice to be fed for the formation of the boiled rice ball, and a feeding mechanism 200 capable of feeding the boiled rice to the quantifying mechanism 100. The quantifying mechanism 100 is equipped with a roller group 101 to 104 capable of regulating the amount of the boiled rice by pressing the boiled rice, a pair of sending rollers 105 and 106 installed between the roller group 101 to 104 and the feeding mechanism 200 so as to be moved upward and downward, and capable of sending the boiled rice fed from the feeding mechanism 200 to the roller group 101 to 104, and first controlling means capable of stopping the rotation of the sending rollers 105 and 106 when the pair of the sending rollers 105 and 106 is lifted from the initial positions, and restarting the rotation of the pair of the sending rollers 105 and 106 when the pair of the sending rollers 105 and 106 returns to the initial positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
