PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down pipe for cold district, configured so as to eliminate the leak of rainwater or the like from a vertical gutter and to suppress, even when freezing occurs inside the vertical gutter, the deformation and breakage of the vertical gutter. SOLUTION: The down pipe 1 includes a long gutter member 2, and a long cover member 3 to be attached to the gutter member 2. The gutter member 2 has an opening 4 in the longitudinal direction, and locked projections 6 on the outer circumferential surface. The cover member 3 includes bent portions 3a at both short-side ends, and a locking portion 7 is provided at the tip of each of the bent portions 3a so as to cover the locked projection 6 of the gutter member 2. The cover member 3 is attached and integrated to the gutter member 2 by engagingly locking the locking portions 7 on the locked projections 6, and the opening 4 of the gutter member 2 is closed from the outside by the cover member 3. Even when freezing occurs inside the down pipe 1, the bent portions 3a of the cover member 3 are extended outwardly to release the locking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
