<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of being manufactured at a low cost without lowering the luminance of the light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element mounting substrate 1 provided with an insulating substrate 11 composed of ceramic sintered body, a first connection pad 12 to which a light-emitting element 2 is electrically connected, a second connection pad 13 electrically connected to an external circuit, and a wiring conductor 14, the light-emitting element 2 mounted on one main surface of the light-emitting element mounting substrate 1 and electrically connected with the first connection pad 12, and a frame body 3 which has a bottom plate 31 and a sidewall 32 erected along the peripheral edge of the bottom plate 31 where the light-emitting element mounting substrate 1 is loaded on the bottom plate 31, a through-hole 311 is formed at the bottom plate 31, and the through-hole 311 is provided with a connection conductor 4 whose one end is electrically connected with the second connection pad 13 and the other end is electrically connected with the external circuit, and which comprises a ceramic porous body of the same kind as the ceramic sintered body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
