<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glossy paper for inkjet recording having excellent glossiness, causing no bleeding after printing by an inkjet printer, having high image sharpness and high scratch resistance of the glossy surface, and causing little paper powder during cutting, and to provide a postcard using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The glossy paper for inkjet recording has one or more ink receiving layers containing a pigment and a binder on at least one surface of a paper base material, and a gloss developing layer subjected to a mirror gloss finish on the outermost layer of the ink receiving layer. The ink receiving layer contains synthetic silica and zinc oxide as the pigment, and polyvinyl alcohol as the binder wherein a mass ratio of the synthetic silica to the zinc oxide is 85/15 to 99/1, a coating amount of the ink receiving layer is 3 to 15 g/m<SP>2</SP>, and the gloss developing layer contains colloidal silica as the pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
