USE OF DECURSIN AND DECURSINOL ANGELATE AS WOUND HEALING INGREDIENTS

PURPOSE: A therapeutic agent for wound healing containing decursin and decursinol angelate is provided to ensure excellent for wound healing with safety. CONSTITUTION: An external use therapeutic agent for wound healing contains 0.1-5.0 weight% of decursin and decursinol angelate. The decursin and decursinol angelate is isolated from Angelica gigas Nakai, Angelica gigas Jiri, Angelica decursiva Fr et Sav., or Pseucedanum terebinthaceum Ficscher et Turcz. The therapeutic agent is applied as an ointment, cream, gel, and powder. The therapeutic agent additionally contains: sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol, lactitol, ribitol as polyhydric alcohols for preventing agent aggregation; a surfactant of polysorbitan and triton X-100, acacia gum, pectin, xanthan gum, and agar; a stabilizing agent; a preservative; and a perfume.
