PURPOSE: A small-sized and light weight UPS is provided to dualize a power source by selectively installing a convertor, inverter, and a battery or a plurality of transformers according to field conditions. CONSTITUTION: In a small-sized and light weight UPS, a control panel(112) receives an external voltage of 220V. A transformer(114) changes an input voltage which is received through a control panel. A condition sensing unit(116) detects an external voltage and senses the state of the device. A converter(127) converts the AC power outputted from the transformer into a DC power of a predetermined size. Batteries are charged by receiving the DC power from the converter.
