<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing band in a simple structure which can prevent a packed article from rubbing against the packing band so that the packed article may not be damaged at disposal of the packed article is carried out while holding the packing band by a hand, which can be held by hand without inflicting pain at disposal of the packed article, and which keep the volume reduced by binding the packing band by hands after unpacking so that it can be discarded easily. <P>SOLUTION: In the packing band formed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin, a hollow groove prolonged in the longitudinal direction of the band is formed at the center in the width direction of the band.
