PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently treat sludge in the waste water discharged from a thermal power plant. SOLUTION: A sludge dehydration system includes: a concentration part (60) for concentrating the sludge in the waste water discharged from the thermal power plant; a slurrying part (70) for heating/slurrying the sludge concentrated in the concentration part; and a dehydration part (90) for dehydrating the slurried sludge. The slurrying part has a heat transfer pipeline having heat transfer properties, and a heating mechanism for heating the heat transfer pipeline from the outside thereof, wherein the inside of the heat transfer pipeline is used as the movement space in which the sludge is moved.
