<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of shifting in printing being greatly conspicuous in a printing system using a plurality of printers. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system has a paper ejection section for a first printer that prints by using first color material and a paper supplying section for a second printer that prints by using second color material, the paper ejection section and the paper supplying section being connected to each other. The first printer generates first printing data and second printing data from input printing data, transmits the second printing data to the second printer, prints the first printing data to the paper by using the first color material and ejects it from the paper ejection section. The second printer acquires a correction parameter for correcting the printing position of the second printing data to suppress the shifting in printing occurring on the paper when the ejected paper with the first printing data printed on it is supplied from the paper supplying section and the second printing data is printed. Then, shifting in printing is suppressed by correcting the printing position in the second printing data and the corrected second printing data is printed by using the second color material on the paper with the first printing data printed on it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
