<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for establishing a reference in an optical touch input device, capable of accurately detecting a touch even in the event of dislocation of an infrared sensor module, and an optical touch input device to which the method is applied. <P>SOLUTION: The method for establishing a reference in an optical touch input system includes steps of: turning on a light emission section of the infrared sensor module; sensing light quantity by a sensor array of the infrared sensor module; analyzing the sensed light quantity by a touch control unit to search an impulse (light quantity peak); and setting a pixel (address or sensor) of the sensor array at which the impulse is generated as a reference point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
