PURPOSE: A pixel circuit, an organic electroluminescent display device, and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent problems due to a large organic electroluminescent display device by separating an initial section from a threshold voltage compensation section. CONSTITUTION: The gate electrode of a second transistor(T2) is connected to a first scanning line, the first electrode of the second transistor is connected to a data line, and the second electrode of the second transistor is connected to a first node. The gate electrode of a fifth transistor(T4) is connected to a third scanning line, the first electrode of the fifth transistor is connected to the first node, and the second electrode of the fifth transistor is connected to a second node. The gate electrode of a third transistor(T3) is connected to a second scanning line, the first electrode of the third transistor is connected to a reference power supply device, and the second electrode of the third transistor is connected to the second node. The gate electrode of a fifth transistor(T5) is connected to a light emitting control line, the first electrode of the fifth transistor is connected to the third node, and the second electrode of the fifth transistor is connected to the anode electrode of the organic light emitting diode. A first capacitor is connected between the first node and the second node. A second capacitor is connected between the second node and the third node.
