PURPOSE: A detailed information image file and a generating method and apparatus thereof are provided to input details about a file name and an image to an existing image file. CONSTITUTION: An image storage unit(3) stores images. A file name storage unit(5) stores the title of the whole image file. A main word storage unit(9) stores a main word for a stored specific area. A link value storage unit(11) stores URL(Uniform Resource Locator) link information about the specific area. An image detail storage unit(13) stores details about the main word. A whole image detail storage unit(17) stores details about the whole image file.
