The spring (1) has a ring-shaped base body (60) comprising a rotational axis, a radially outer-lying elastic area (4), and a radially inner-lying elastic area (5). An opening (11) is radially formed between the areas around the axis of the body. The inner-lying area has a flexible tongue (8) and a rod (16), where the tongue is aligned in the direction of the axis. The rod runs along the opening in a partial ring-shaped manner. A retainer (10) for fastening the spring to a friction clutch is arranged in the opening, and a recess is formed at an outer circumferential side of the spring.
