<p>Provided is a locking cover for an electrical connection appliance, wherein detachment of the locking cover from the electrical connection appliance upon releasing the lock can be prevented, while maintaining high durability and locking force even in repeated use. The locking cover (5), which is mounted onto a female socket (4) of an AC power supply cord (3) that is to be connected to a male socket (7) of a power supply unit (2), and prevents detachment of the male socket from the female socket, is provided with: a cover body (21) that fits externally over the female socket; latching levers (23) that are formed on the cover body and resiliently engage with pawl sections (31) installed at the male socket side, the resilient engagement being released by displacement of the latching levers to an engagement releasing position by an external force; and latch walls (24) that are formed on the cover body and resiliently engages, releasably, with slots (11) installed at the female socket side. The latch walls (24) are restricted from being displaced in a direction in which the engagement with the slots will be released, by being pressed by the latching levers that have been displaced to the engagement releasing position.</p> |
