The transmission device (1) transmits a protection signal that partially covers an emission sensitive zone (Z) and influences outputting of emissions i.e. electromagnetic radiations, by one of devices (2-1 to 2-3) residing in the sensitive zone. The protection signal provides information that the device is present in the sensitive zone and contains identification information for identifying the sensitive zone, category information for indicating a type of the sensitive zone and coordinate information for indicating a spatial area covered by the sensitive zone. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device comprising a transceiver unit for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic signals (2) a method for protecting an emission sensitive zone.
