METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PREVENTING FUNCTIONAL DEGRADATION OF WATER-SOLUBLE PROCESSING LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device which prevent functional degradation of a water-soluble processing liquid in a simple manner and at low cost without needing complicated maintenance nor using expensive equipment with high maintenance cost such as a dialysis apparatus. SOLUTION: Coarse particles comprising a hardly-soluble magnesium compound which exhibits an alkalinity with pH 9-11 when dissolved in water and has a water solubility of 0.005-0.5 g/L are brought into contact with the water-soluble processing liquid. The contact mass of the hardly-soluble magnesium compound to the water-soluble processing liquid may be controlled to be 10-500 g/L with respect to the volume of the water-soluble processing liquid. The particle size of the coarse particles comprising the hardly-soluble magnesium compound may be 1-50 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
