PURPOSE: A method for controlling display of multimedia data through a mobile terminal is provided to easily reproduce a multimedia file using an external device through a home networking. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal receives the information of an external connected device(S1). The mobile communication terminal checks the stored multimedia data of the external device memory or the mobile communication terminal(S2). The mobile communication terminal checks an external device capable of reproducing the multimedia data through the device information. The mobile communication terminal displays the checked external device with a multimedia data to the display unit(S3).
